Peter Mellor (Goalkeeper) - 'Safehands' is our first team keeper and a big presence for us at the back, he also gets tremendous distance on his kicks which can turn a defensive play into an attack for us.

Danny Atkinson (Goalkeeper) - 'Acky' is our reserve team keeper, but is presently holding down the first team spot, he has played in the last few matches and conceded his first goals in the victory against Atherton Collieries.

James Heath (Defender) - 'Heathy' is like a terrier in the tackle, he never knows when he's beaten, has a great attitude and also scores the odd 'screamer' from 40 yards.

Scott Clarke (Defender) - Scott has moved up from the Reserve Team this season and played in our first three games before unluckily losing his place because of a suspension carried over from last season.

Adam Roberts (Defender) - Adam is the quiet man of the side who just gets on with it - his and Barry's partnership is very effective. Adam came through the Reserves before making his First Team debut last season, he can play anywhere along the back four and is a great competitor.

Barry Cotterill (Defender) - 'Baz' is the Club Captain and the man everyone looks up to, he is good on the floor and in the air and has also got great pace, everything you need in a Centre Half. He has been voted Player's Player of the Season for the last 2 years.

Ben Roberts (Defender) - Ben is Adam's brother and also came through our Reserve side. He is the baby of the side but we have already had club's asking about him, he is a tenacious tackler, good passer of the ball and reads the game really well.

Matthew Smith (Utility) - ‘Matty’ is the daddy of the team and is a great asset to the side, as his experience means he can play anywhere, and do a good job. He also helps the younger players with encouraging words and also assists and scores goals.

Neil Logan (Defender) - This is Neil's second season with us and he has been unlucky in the fact that both central defenders Barry and Adam have played so well. Neil's last appearance was in the away game at Darwen this season, he is dependable and has not let us down when he has filled in at the back.

Scott Flanagan (Utility) - 'Flanny' is injured at present but can play almost anywhere and has done so, in his long career with us, works hard for the team and can also score goals, was an unused sub against St. Helens Town this season before his injury.

Carl Buchanan (Midfielder) - Carl is another player who has come through from the Reserves this season and was an unused sub against Leek CSOB before making his debut, coming on as a sub against Atherton Collieries in our 5-2 win in the FA CUP.

Arron Riley (Midfielder) - 'AZ' alias 'Daddy Cool' started here as a striker until manager Trevor Howard converted him to right midfield and with considerable success, as he has a good engine and contributes to our goal tally, in his last 2 seasons he has scored 23 goals from midfield, with 4 so far this season.

Rob Brocklehurst (Midfielder) - 'Brocky' plays centre midfield and also takes free kicks and corners, he has a good eye for a pass and is no slouch in the tackle either. He also scores goals - what more could we ask for?

Andrew MacDonald (Midfielder) - 'Macca' is 'Brocky's' centre midfield partner this season and they complement each other really well, while 'Brocky' is winning the ball, 'Macca' is distributing it all over the pitch. He has good vision and can also score goals, like the one that dispatched St Helens Town earlier in the season.

John Hussain (Midfielder) - Johnny is Team Captain and you can usually hear him from the stand shouting 'encouragement' to those around him, good in the tackle and his crosses usually find their target - he must have 5 or 6 assists already this season - two of them found Arron's head against Atherton last week.

Andrew Lindon (Midfielder/Forward) - 'Lindon' was in midfield last season but has been transformed into a striker by our mercurial manager Trevor Howard and it has paid off as he has scored already and has a few assists to his credit as well - two of them last week for 'Deano' at Atherton.

David Carpenter (Midfielder/Forward) - 'Carpy' has come back this season from a really bad injury last season and already you can see him getting back in his stride, he can play on the wing or upfront as he has done this season, very quick feet and loves running at defenders, good crosser of a ball.

Michael Myers (Forward) - This is Mike's first season with Cheadle, but he has already started as he means to go on with 2 goals against Stone Dominoes in the League recently. But it is his all round unselfishness that has got him respect, he never stops running for the team.

Dean Martin (Forward) - 'Deano' makes Cheadle tick, if he plays well - we play well. He has only played in the last couple of games, but has already made his mark with a hat-trick against Atherton last week. Last season's top goal scorer, he is already joint top scorer with Arron this season so far.

Brad Fallows (Defender) - This is Brad's first season with Cheadle and he has deputised at Centre Half, for Barry or Adam whenever they've been injured or suspended. Brad made his debut in the fixture against Chadderton and we won the game. He's one of our taller players and we haven't got that many and is very good in the air at free kicks and corners although he is yet to score. He has never let us down when he has played and always gives 100%.
